Many of our guests commented on how wonderful and unique the ceremony was, full of little quirks that made it feel unmistakably us.
Beyond leading a beautiful ceremony, John helped take so much of the stress out of wedding planning. He guided us through decisions along the way, and even took care of thoughtful details—like liaising directly with both our mums about how the handfasting would work, since we’d asked them to be involved.
You can really tell that John is in this work for the pure love of bringing people together. We’re so grateful to him and couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Ours was an unusual setting (clifftop) and a very small (just 8 of us) but multicultural group (English, Lithuanian, Romanian and Spanish) but John's research into various national wedding customs meant everyone had a meaningful part to play and gave our celebration such a personalised touch.
His calm and humorous eloquence tied everything together beautifully and we are still buzzing and, when looking at the videos, getting moist eyed at how magical it all was on the day.
Actually, even before the day we quickly came to appreciate just how much pre wedding stress was averted by having such a capable and knowledgeable celebrant to research and suggest various formats, leaving us to enjoy organising the other essentials.

John took the time to get to know us in order to really encapsulate the 'story of us'. We knew we wanted our ceremony to be light and fun and there certainly was lots of laughter. He offered up plenty of ideas that would make the ceremony extra special and was happy to tweak these to make it just right for us.
John was friendly and cheerful throughout all our meetings - even when our newborn meant this could be quite tricky! I can't thank John enough for creating such a personal, cheerful ceremony and would highly recommend him.

We are not your traditional couple and the ceremony was also far from it as we mixed cocktails instead of exchanged rings but the challenge to do something that John hadnt done before didn't phase him

We weren't really sure what we wanted from a Celebrant but with John's guidance we managed to create something really memorable for us both - his service had just the right tone of charm, humour and personality.

We wanted a relaxed and informal ceremony, that still felt special and personal - I think we managed to achieve this and lots of our guests said it was the most personal wedding ceremony they had been to. We also wanted to include our 14 mth old son somehow and John was super flexible and understanding on how to do this!
